Founded with a vision to offer purpose-driven performing arts education, Vokes Lisi is more than just a school — it’s a supportive community where every student is encouraged to discover their voice and grow as a person, both on stage and beyond.

Our Story

Vokes Lisi was co-founded by Freddie Vokes and Sophie Lisi, two passionate young performers who believe deeply in the power of the performing arts. Our Journey

From our humble beginnings, Vokes Lisi has grown quickly. In summer 2025, we ran our first Summer Theatre Week, bringing together 18 children for a full week of singing, acting, and performance under the guidance of our team, including Daisy Westbury, who supported movement and choreography. Newark Advertiser

Our Vision for the Future

As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand our reach and offer even more opportunities for young people across Nottingham and beyond. We are passionate about bridging the gap between creative passion and professional development — providing a pathway for students who might one day pursue theatre, music, or other performance careers, but also for those who simply want a joyful, confidence-building creative outlet.
